The riding routes embraced the royal stud and farmland, Caledonian forest, mountain and moorland, waterfalls and lochs as well as the more formal estate with its statues and views of the castle - 200 riders and five carriages took part.
We are most indebted to her Majesty The Queen for allowing us access to Balmoral Estate and also the estate staff, stud manager Sylvia Ormiston and BHS and WHW volunteers who all conspired to make it the perfect Sunday out with a special celebratory Jubilee feel given that The Queen was in residence.
