Booking and Information

Learn how to navigate obstacles and desensitise your horse to challenging situations from the ground in this tactical in-hand clinic.

Being able to work your horse from the ground has a host of benefits and can ultimately help you and your horse create a greater bond. This clinic will give you all the information you need, from the use of tack and equipment, how to start off, and also how to develop your skills to improve your horse's way of going from the ground.

You and your horse will learn valuable methods and aids to assist you at all levels of horsemanship, whether you ride or not.

This clinic is perfect for young horses as an introduction to going out and about, horses that are retired from ridden exercise but who can still benefit from exercise and also young or inexperienced handlers who need to gain valuable knowledge on how to improve their ability to work alongside their horse or pony.

Alex Robinson-Barr BHSI will coach you through a range of obstacles and challenging situations and will be on hand to answer questions throughout.

Instructions

You will need to bring your horse or pony, correct standard hat, gloves and sturdy footwear. Bridles if your horse is bitted or relevant headcollar/leadrope.

This clinic will take place in the Indoor Arena at the college, but may change to the Outdoor Arena without prior notice.
