I have approx. 25 years teaching experience from very beginners to competition riders, children to adults. I have taught in BHS approved riding schools and freelance. I mostly train from my Saintfield base but can travel. I have taught in England, Ireland and Holland. I have trained through the BHS exam system, in The Netherlands with Olympic Gold Medalist Anky Van Grunsven, with Sjef Jannsen in the Dutch system of training. With Conrad Schumacher and Heike Holstein in the German System of training. I have trained horses to and competed at Grand Prix Dressage. I am very clear that correct training on the flat helps horses in all competition disciplines and horses in everyday life to ensure their good health and mobility and safety. I pride myself in my ability to help nervous riders and I am also qualified in Sports Psychology.
