About Me

I have been teaching for 25yrs and remain as passionate as I was all those years ago.

I am dedicated and enthusiastic with all my clients, in all stages of their training and development.

The majority of my clients are at various levels of Riding club and vary from children to adults, from 1st time horse owners to qualified professionals and serious grassroots riders.

In recent years I have especially enjoyed working with riders who for various reasons have lost confidence and need sympathetic structure and support to push through this barrier. I can adjust and adapt lessons to the individual and feel confident in designing the right plan for improvement.

Personally my first love is dressage and currently I am training my new horse through the levels in affiliated dressage and hope to achieve Medium this year.
My background, alongside coaching is in yard management, staff training and development, as well as sourcing horses for clients.

I am currently enjoying freelance coaching full time, and this can include private lessons, group sessions and clinics. Group riding can be so beneficial for horse and rider confidence within a supportive environment and I am seeing some brilliant achievements with my group sessions and clinics.

My sessions can be flat work, pole work, jumping or grid work.

I really strive to work closely with my clients and forming a professional working relationship with you and your horse is key. Ongoing support between sessions is a natural part of how I work, and love to hear updates, successes or also to guide through any issues.
