Susan Tarling

I am a retired Mounted Police officer during which time I was an accredited trainer, training at all levels from recruits to experienced officers. I have experience in many competition areas having ridden at Intermediate BE (back in the day!) my daughter is competing at Novice BE and has done all Pony Club and Riding Club activities/ competitions.

About me

I am a retired Mounted Police officer during which time I was an accredited trainer, training at all levels from recruits to experienced officers. As well as remount training (young equine recruits) my role would often take me to other police forces to assess other officers wishing to develop their riding skills.
Since retiring I have mainly focused on teaching at all levels within the Pony Club as well as adults and more recently a blind young lady.
I have experience in many competition areas having ridden at Intermediate BE (back in the day!) my daughter is competing at Novice BE and has done all Pony Club and Riding Club activities/ competitions.
