About me

James is an event rider and coach with a passion to support his clients to achieve their goals and ambitions however he can using his depth and breadth of experience and knowledge from a plethora of disciplines and topics such as rider psychology and equine biomechanics to name just a few.

James is always keen on Continual Professional Development with the interest of bringing the most recent developments from within the industry to his clients. He holds a BSc(Hons) in Equestrian Sports Coaching from Hartpury College and University and is currently enrolled on a MSc in Sports Coaching.

Sessions are tailor-made to suit you and your Equine’s every need using a theoretical underpinning to support a mixture of traditional and up-to-date training methods whilst using a simplistic and modern approach to coaching, and always upholding the highest standards of practice having worked with top international riders, yards, coaches and researchers.

Due to working in Riding Establishments small and large, the Pony Club, Educational facilities as well as his own freelance work, James is competent in coaching varying levels of rider abilities from complete novices to professional riders out in the industry.

Fully insured, First Aid, Safeguarding trained and DBS checked.
