I am a patient and sympathetic coach and enjoy coaching riders of all levels. My main client base varies from leisure riders, those competing at unaffiliated level and grass roots affiliated riders in dressage, show-jumping or eventing. The principles behind my coaching philosophy are deeply rooted in improving partnerships, promoting willingness and harmony between horse and rider – to maximise the partnership, rather than create an unwilling servant in the horse.

About me

I am a patient and sympathetic coach and enjoy coaching riders of all levels. My main client base varies from leisure riders, those competing at unaffiliated level and grass roots affiliated riders in dressage, show-jumping or eventing. The principles behind my coaching philosophy are deeply rooted in improving partnerships, promoting willingness and harmony between horse and rider – to maximise the partnership, rather than create an unwilling servant in the horse.

My approach with clients is based on a mutual trust with sympathetic and correct horsemanship but most of all FUN.

I currently teach from my base near Riding Mill where facilities include a floodlit 40x60m arena with a huge variety of show jumps and fillers. We have a secure cross country field with jumps from 40cm to over 1m including water, ditches, banks, steps and skinnies.

I do not currently freelance at other yards.
