About Me

Liz Morrison has always loved horses and trained with amazing mentors towards her role as a coach, author and Dressage judge. Learning is a core value and she gained the BHSI-Stable Manager and Intermediate Instructor qualifications. A WCMT Fellowship to Australia looking at 'horse care education' led to study of NLP and reflective learning approaches - and then 2 books: 'Simple Steps to Riding Success' and 'Ride with Confidence' which were bestsellers. She was one of the first ICF Professional Certified Coaches in the UK and has completed UKCC level 3, Mental Health First Aid and RDA Coach qualifications.

She is Founder of The Happiness Horsebox CIC, a unique wheelchair-accessible vehicle with a platform lift to enable easy mounting/dismounting. It can take horses to visit care homes/hospitals safely and privately. She holds Local Authority Licences for this work and to teach some clients on her horses.

In summary, Liz cares about helping people build thoughtful, confident, relationships with horses, with a special focus on equine-assisted approaches, para-equestrian riding and helping people 'ride through' life-changing illnesses and injuries. She supports coaches who want to build skills in these areas and runs in-person and online workshops on related topics. Email enquiries: liz@positiveriding.co.uk
