Nicky Hughes

I have been involved in equestrian sport for nearly 50 years in which I have competed successfully in various areas including British Eventing, Endurance events, Show Jumping, British Dressage and National level Hunter Classes.
Previously I worked full time as a Registered Nurse alongside running a livery yard and training both horses and riders. I am now concentrating full time on competing and training and currently compete in dressage at Prix St George Level on a horse I both bred and trained and I am looking to take him higher. I have successfully bred and produced horses up to national level and have had placings at both the Great Yorkshire Show and the National Hunter Show.
As a fully insured riding instructor with a current DBS check and a Master’s degree in Education I understand both the needs of the riding student of all ages and the needs and potential of the horse.
