About me

I like to teach at all levels but particularly novice riders, children and adults. I focus on basic techniques for dressage and jumping especially cross country. Once the foundation of what you want to achieve is established the rest is how far you want to go.

I trained for 5 years with world class teaching from Lady Hugh Russell at Wylye, completed Badminton at 18, passed my BHSI at 20, and ridden up to Inter 1 dressage.

I trained 1 dressage, 1. 3 day event Pony European medalists and a Junior European 3 day event medalist, as well as helping many competitors at every level of competition. I specialise in young horses as well as people new to riding at whatever age, giving confidence and knowledge for riding and looking after your horse.

I have worked with the top trainers over the years, latterly with Ulla Salzgeber, Olympic, World and European Champion. I have worked at private yards, run a large riding school, built and run Equi-sense a successful training and competition yard and am a true all round teacher.
I am able to teach at home but happy to travel to you, also offer clinics.

All my life I have worked with horses and taught many people throughout my long career, I’m happy to help anyone who wants to learn and improve, not necessarily to compete but to enjoy training and riding our lovely horses and ponies.
