About Me

I am a BHS Senior eventing coach and Intermediate stable manager specialising in dressage. I also have an MSc in equine science and am currently a list 5 BD judge. I have been coaching in riding schools and freelance for 6 years, working with a range of clients from ROR to PSG dressage riders.

I focus on the fundamentals and scales of training to improve the horse’s way of going. We all have to start somewhere and the basics are the foundation, no horse and rider is ‘too basic’! I have a firm belief that any horse can do dressage, no matter what breed, what past experience or career.

I compete my own 2 dressage horses, one of which is at Advanced Medium and her daughter who is a young horse at Prelim. Both of these horses are totally self-produced by me to their current levels. I trained at Talland School of Equitation under the Hutton family and have ridden up to PSG and I currently train with Adam Kemp and Sophie Dickinson.

I am based in Seend that I coach from. Alternatively, I can travel to your yard. I also offer lunging and schooling for my client’s horses.
