If you are passionate about equestrian access and want to make a lasting difference in your area, this could be the volunteer opportunity for you.
We want to protect, extend, and promote safe off-road access for all equestrians and believe that everyone should be able to enjoy a safe route or space to ride or carriage drive.

If you love maps, research and history this could be a great role for you.
On 1 January 2026, historic routes in England that have not been properly recorded will be lost to the public forever. We are looking for people to volunteer their time to help us identify and register these routes before it is too late.
NB: The 2026 cut off date has now been extended to 2031.

If you are passionate about equestrian access and want to make a lasting difference in your area, this could be the volunteer opportunity for you.
We seek to defend equestrian access to the countryside across Scotland.
As an Access Representative you would undertake a range of activities to meet the access priorities identified in your area of Scotland. This could be responding to access queries from local riders, raising awareness of access priorities in your locality or working with Local Access Forums and Local Authorities.
