Come and spend a day with the British Horse Society whilst enjoying the company of your horse and meeting like minded others in the most beautiful setting of Ickworth Park.

The day will include ridden group training sessions; flatwork, show jumping and XC, unmounted workshops, refreshments & lunch as well as a lovely rosette to take home.

Covering aspects of the BHS Stage 4 and BHS Performance Coach assessment with opportunities to coach if you would like.

Open to all, will be of particular interest for those looking to take an assessment or those who just want to 'sense check' their own coaching techniques.

If you are working towards your BHS Stage 2 qualification or just want to know more about what is involved, we have a great training opportunity for you. This day may also be of interest to those coaches who train candidates to BHS Stage 2 level.

The government scrapped the car and trailer towing test in 2021, but are you confident in towing, manoeuvring and reversing?

Your horse is precious and ensuring their safety whilst towing is understandably paramount to your peace of mind and their well-being. Picking up some extra skills and tips to help your horse remain calm, relaxed and ready for whatever rides you are planning to take is a great investment for your and your horse.

Need new ideas to keep your training fresh and engaging? This Poles and Gridwork Demonstration with Karen Nicholas Eacock, Stage 4 Coach is packed with innovative exercises to inspire and help refine your training methods.

An excellent training day for anyone interested in bits and bitting! Especially useful for coaches who see a variety of clients and may need to assist with bitting problems, and anyone training for BHS or Pony Club assessments. Presented by Olivia Turner, a qualified and British Equestrian Trade Association (BETA) recommended bitting expert. Six CPD points are available for BHS Accredited Professional Coaches.  

This adult camp is open to anyone, whether you are an everyday grass roots rider or an established competition rider, with all levels catered for from novice* to advanced. The aim is to come along, have fun and learn with your horse and make some new friends along the way.

Flatwork training in the morning and Jumping (or ground poles) at lunchtime.

Open to everyone (every horse and every rider!)

Flatwork training in the morning with jumping/pole work in the afternoon.

The café is open so why not come for the day and do a morning and an afternoon session. Day stables are available for your horse to relax while you enjoy your lunch.

These are friendly and relaxed group sessions that last approx. 1hr and there will be a maximum of 4 riders per group.

Held in the grounds of the inspiring Aintree Racecourse with access to the international equestrian centre, you and your horse will enjoy a variety of dismounted and ridden sessions with our BHS Senior Accredited Coaches training you in flatwork, polework and or jumping to improve your connection and harmony with your horse while you have some fun with like minded people!
